As an expression of VISION 2020 Strategic Plan the Sunnyside District’s goal is to cultivate and maintain healthy working relationships with parents, families, community members and education stakeholders, by establishing a reciprocal exchange of strategic plans and concepts pertaining to the quality of schools and improvement of educational outcomes for all students.

Authentic community engagement is key to increasing student achievement and their readiness for college, career and life. By partnering with parents, educators, local businesses, churches, community organizations, elected officials, city departments and other stakeholders, Sunnyside is committed to strengthening the connections between our schools and our communities.
